COVID-19 support in Merton

The Merton COVID-19 Community Response Hub is a partnership between Age UK Merton, Merton Connected and Wimbledon Guild.
It was set up in March 2020 to help isolated households and those at risk from COVID-19.

Are you isolated, at risk from COVID-19 and need help with any of the following?

  • Support with shopping and basic supplies
  • Access to prescription and medication
  • Telephone befriending
  • Advice and practical help to stay active
  • Support to stay independent at home

If you, or someone you know, needs help please email help@MertonCommunityHub.org.uk or call 020 8066 4086, between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.

How do I volunteer?

Volunteers will be allocated tasks to help isolated households and those at risk from COVID-19. If you are interested in helping visit the Merton Community Hub and click on ‘I want to help’ and complete the form that appears and submit it.

Note: If you feel unwell, do not volunteer to help others who are isolating. Please ensure you wash your hands regularly, especially before and after you deliver any items to a person in isolation and stay 2 meters away from the person where possible.
